    Unexpected behavior

    • The battery may be drained. If the battery is empty, you have to charge the device for a while before it shows signs of charging. Charge the battery for at least 30 minutes, then turn on the device.

    • Make sure you have the latest Smart Connect and SmartWatch 2 applications installed on your Android™ device.

       

      The SmartWatch 2 application is not visible as an application in the menu of your Android™ device’s Application screen, and it launches automatically when SmartWatch 2 is connected with your Android™ device.

      To update the Smart Connect application from your Android™ device
      1. From your Home screen, tap Sony home apptray normal=2.
      2. Find and tap Smart Connect, then tap Sony key menu=1 > App info.
      3. Tap Sony key menu=1 > Check for updates.
      4. If an update is available, follow the instructions that
        appear on the screen.

      Note: To minimize data charges, make sure that your Android™ device is connected to a Wi-Fi® network.

       

      To update the SmartWatch 2 application from your Android™ device

      1. From your Home screen, tap Sony home apptray normal=2.
      2. Find and tap Play Store.
      3. In the list of installed applications, find and tap SmartWatch 2.
      4. If an update is available, follow the instructions that
        appear on the screen.

      Note: To minimize data charges, make sure that your Android™ device is connected to a Wi-Fi® network.

    • Force your device to shut down, then restart it.

      To force your SmartWatch 2 to shut down

      • Press and hold down the power keySony key and power k90=2 for 12 seconds until your SmartWatch 2 vibrates and turns off.
    • Reset your device. You can reset your SmartWatch 2 to its factory default settings. A reset deletes all personal data on your SmartWatch 2.
