    Downloading applications from other sources

    When your device is set to allow downloads from sources other than Google Play, you can download applications directly from other websites by following the relevant download instructions.

    To enable or disable the downloading of applications from other sources

    1. Find and tap Settings > Apps & notifications.
    2. Tap Advanced > Special app access > Install unknown apps.
    3. Tap the application you want to allow the installing of application from other sources, then tap the Allow from this source switch to enable or disable.
