    Backing up contacts

    You can use internal storage, a memory card or a SIM card to back up contacts.

    To export all contacts to internal storage

    1. Find and tap Contacts icon.
    2. Tap Menu icon, then tap Import/export > Export to SD card or internal storage (.vcf file).
    3. Tap Options icon, then tap your device’s model number beside Internal storage icon.
    4. Select a destination folder or simply tap Save.

    To export all contacts to a memory card

    1. Find and tap Contacts icon.
    2. Tap Menu icon, then tap Import/export > Export to SD card or internal storage (.vcf file).
    3. Tap Options icon > SD Card.
    4. Select a destination folder, then tap Save.

    To export contacts to a SIM card

    1. Find and tap Contacts icon.
    2. Tap Menu icon> Import/export.
    3. Single SIM users, tap Export to SIM card. Dual SIM users, select a SIM card to export to.
    4. Tap OK.
    5. Select contacts to export, then tap Export.
    6. Select an option, then tap OK.

      When you export contacts to a SIM card, not all information may get exported. This is due to memory limitations on SIM cards.
