A protective plastic sheet is attached to the screen. You should peel off this sheet before using the touchscreen. Otherwise, the touchscreen might not function properly.

To insert the nano SIM cards

Inserting the micro SIM card on Sony Smartphone

With the device facing down, open the cover for the micro SIM card tray.
Drag out the tray using your fingernail.
Place the micro SIM card in the tray, then reinsert the tray.
Close the cover.

If you insert a micro SIM card while the device is powered on, the device restarts automatically.

To insert a memory card

Open the memory card slot cover.
Place the memory card in the memory card slot in the correct orientation, as shown in the illustration.
Close the cover.

To remove the micro SIM card

Removing the micro SIM card from Sony Smartphone

Remove the cover of the micro SIM card slot.
Pull out the micro SIM card holder.
Remove the micro SIM card.
Insert the micro SIM card holder back into its slot.
Re-attach the micro SIM card slot cover.

To remove the memory card

Turn off the device and detach the memory card slot cover.
Press the memory card inwards and then release it immediately.
Draw the memory card fully outwards and remove it.
Re-attach the cover.

You can also remove the memory card without turning the device off as described in step 1. To use this method, you must first unmount the memory card. Tap Settings > Storage, then tap beside SD card, then follow the rest of the instructions above.
