    Unexpected behaviour

    • The battery may be drained. If the battery is discharged, you have to charge the Bluetooth® Remote for a while before it indicates any signs of charging. Charge the battery for at least 30 minutes, then turn on the Bluetooth® Remote.

    • Make sure that your Android™ device runs on the Android™ 4.4 software version or later.

    • Make sure you have the latest Smart Connect and BRH10 applications installed
      on your Android™ device.

      The BRH10 application is not visible as an application in the menu of your Android™ device’s Application screen, and it launches automatically when BRH10 gets connected
      with your Android™ device.

      To update the Smart Connect application from your Android™ device

      1. From your Home screen, tap Sony home apptray normal=2.
      2. Find and tap Smart Connect, then tap Sony key and menu=1 > App info.
      3. Tap Sony key and menu=1 > Check for updates.
      4. If an update is available, follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

      Note: To minimise data charges, make sure that your Android™ device is connected to a Wi-Fi® network.

      To update the BRH10 application from your Android™ device

      1. From your Home screen, tap Sony home apptray normal=2.
      2. Find and tap Play Store.
      3. In the list of installed applications, find and tap BRH10.
      4. If an update is available, follow the instructions that
        appear on the screen.

      Note: To minimise data charges, make sure that your Android™ device is connected to a Wi-Fi® network.

    • Force your Bluetooth® Remote to shut down, then restart it.

      • Press and hold down the power key for at least 15 seconds.
    • Reset your Bluetooth® Remote to its factory default settings. After a reset, you have to reconnect your Bluetooth® Remote with your Android™ device.
